Task: Find out how to make 3D rotating titles in Flash

Timeline: 2 class periods

Goals: Answer all the following questions, and make a complex rotating title.

Starting:

• Use 3DFlashAnimator to make a new movie project.
• Add a 3D Title element
• Add events to do the rotations

Questions:

1. Make an event to rotate 360 deg around the X-axis.  Describe what that looks like.  
    Describe the diffference between +360 and -360 deg.
    
2. Make an event to rotate 360 deg around the Y-axis.  Describe what that looks like.
    Describe the diffference between +360 and -360 deg.
    
3. Make an event to rotate 360 deg around the Z-axis.  Describe what that looks like.
    Describe the diffference between +360 and -360 deg.
    
4. Make your title rotate first around the X-axis, wait, then rotate around the Y-axis, wait,
   and then rotate around all 3 axes at once, making a complex motion, like the example above.
    

Complex Title:

Make a 1 word title, where the INDIVIDUAL LETTERS are actually separate 3-D titles.
Now create actions so that individual letters rotate independently, perhaps one after another,
in a variety of directions.
