Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa is the capital and the largest city of Ethiopia.  The modern city was founded in 1887 at the site of a hot springs by Emperor Menelik II and given the name Addis Ababa, Amharic for “new flower.” It became the national capital in 1889. The country which is Kenya's neighbour on the north side.  It also the seat of government of the country's ruler.  Addis Ababa is a pleasent upland city and spreading over a hill side at a height of more than eight thousand feet and also well planted with gum trees. it is ver cold at night.

Tana lake
Lake Tana is in Bahir Dar  and also the largest lake in Ethiopia. Tana Lake is nearly Blue Nile and is also the source of the Blue Nile river which runs in the great Nile River. It is on the north central plateau of Amhara in the Ethiopian highlands, near Gonder.  Lake Tana provides a good base to visit place of interst on the lake contains a number of small islands. Fish are caught by inhabitants of the several towns that lie along its shore.

Lalibela
Lalibela is the most wonderful and amazing churches in Ethiopian.  In the 12th century, the king had 11 churches carved out of solid rock in the ancient capital city of Lalibela.  Some of these red volcanic rock structures were carved below ground level and encircled by deep trenches, while others were attached to surrounding rock outcroppings. A network of tunnels and narrow passageways connected them. Wall paintings decorate the interior of the rock-cut Church of St. George at Lalibela; some depict the life of St. George, who is said to have supervised the church’s construction. According to legend, his horse left a hoof print that is still visible in the courtyard of the church.

Blue Nile
the Blue Nile Falls is the most dramatic spectacle on either the White or the Blue Nile rivers. Blue Nile is in the northeaster Africa 1,370 km long.  It rises at an altitude of 1,830m in the region of Lake Tana in northwestern Ethiopia flows south and then west in Ethiopia and follows a northwestern course in Sudan.
